Joshua D. Smith

Growing up all over the country taught Joshua D. Smith to quickly adapt to new challenges. After arriving in the DFW area for the second time, he finished High School in Coppell, before attending UNT.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, TV, and Film from the University of North Texas before begining a marketing career. His lifelong passion for film led him to Produce a low budget feature film in 2002 before he began his legal career.

After graduating from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, where he gained a certification in ADR & Mediation, Joshua began practicing in Denton County under some of the best Attorneys in DFW, developing the skills of an accomplished litigator. Since 2006, Joshua worked towards becoming an accomplished litigator, he practiced under other firms, became the President of the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, served as a Municipal Judge in Flower Mound, and went on to start his own firm.
